Faith Birnbaum, MD, is a glaucoma surgeon and comprehensive ophthalmologist. She completed fellowship training in Glaucoma at Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts Eye and Ear. Dr. Birnbaum completed her ophthalmology residency training at the Duke Eye Center, where she was the recipient of the K. Alexander Datgheib Ocular Surgery award for the best surgical video among her graduating class. While at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, she was awarded a Heed fellowship, a competitive merit-based award for contributions to the field of ophthalmology for research on quality of life metrics among patients with glaucoma. She completed college and medical school at Brown University, where she graduated with honors.
Dr. Birnbaum has over 20 peer reviewed publications in ophthalmology and is passionate about delivering the highest standard of evidence-based care. She is board-certified and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the New England Ophthalmological Society. She is accepting new patients at the Nashua, Milford and Hudson offices and performs surgery at the Nashua Eye Surgery Center. Her outside interests include spending time with her husband and son, playing piano, cooking, gardening, and hiking.
