Ophthalmic Technicians

Nashua Eye Associates, P.A. is currently looking for Full-time Ophthalmic Technicians to assist our busy practice. The Ophthalmic Technician assists the Ophthalmologists in preparing patients for their appointments by:
- Take medical/ocular histories and entering them into our EMR system.
- Performing routine and diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, lensometry, refraction, VF testing, and OCT imaging.
- Assist the doctors with patient examinations and treatment.
- Refill prescriptions through an ERX system.
- Respond promptly to messages from patients, other doctors, and pharmacists.
- Maintain and clean exam rooms and equipment.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
The requirements of the position are as follows:
- You must have reliable transportation and the flexibility to work in any of our three offices.
- Candidate must have a track record of dependability, including good attendance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with coworkers from all departments.
- Proficiency in using a computer and basic office equipment.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in ophthalmology, optometry or another medical setting is a plus.

Optometric Technicians
Nashua Eye Associates, P.A. is currently looking for Full-time Optometric Technicians to assist our busy practice. The Optometric Technician assists the Optometrist in preparing patients for their appointments by:
- Taking patient histories.
- Patient workups.
- Performing tests as required by the physicians.
- Assisting with the fitting and sales of contact lenses.
- Educating patients on proper use and care of their contacts.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
The requirements of the position are as follows:
- You must have reliable transportation and the flexibility to work in any of our three offices.
- Candidate must have a track record of dependability, including good attendance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with coworkers from all departments.
