Nashua Eye Associates is thrilled to welcome Faith Birnbaum, MD, as a full-time associate glaucoma surgeon and comprehensive ophthalmologist. Dr. Birnbaum completed fellowship training in Glaucoma at Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts Eye and Ear. Dr. Birnbaum completed her ophthalmology residency training at the Duke Eye Center, where she was the recipient of the K. Alexander Datgheib Ocular Surgery award for the best surgical video among her graduating class. Her speciality includes medical management of glaucoma, laser treatments, and a range of glaucoma surgery options, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS).
While at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, she also completed a Heed fellowship, a competitive merit-based award for contributions to the field of ophthalmology, under the mentorship of Dr. David Friedman. She completed college and medical school at Brown University, where she graduated with honors.
